The month of December brings us to New York’s Rockefeller Center for a personal introduction of our new work at the venerable AJ Maxwell’s restaurant at 57 E 48th Street (btw 5th and 6th Ave). Never before available in New York, selections of jewelry, tableware, glassware and poppy bits of furnishings will be available to the public! Amidst all the glisten of Rockefeller Center’s winter celebrations, there we are! Open Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays from 10am to 6pm through January 4.
Come to visit whilst you dance in the lighting up of Christmas. We’ll finally greet you in person, you will see what is NO WHERE else in that grand city. You can even bring a bit of the wit home for the holidays . . . all boxed and beautiful.
Looking forward to knowing you personally, sharing our works and the ways of them . . . give you a richer understanding of whatever you wish.
You can come to AJ Maxwell’s, and ask the way DOWN! The restaurant has even offered a 10% discount to those who spend $250 in the {Secret} Shop!

That’s right! get your gift list ready and head for Rockefeller Center - 57 W. 48th Street between 5th & 6th Avenues. Spend $250 or more and then get 10% off of your lunch at AJ Maxwell’s Steakhouse.
New York is magical during the Christmas season. Visit the city and meet Victoria & Richard! See the new Treasury Collection as well as Victoria & Richards other works, and works in progress. The store is officially open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am until 6pm (but just between you and me, sometimes Victoria & Richard are there a little later than 6pm).

China is such a joy, EVERY DAY! There is a LOT of good going on with each step. The work is fun, people wonderful to work with, fresh inspiration each moment, and sometimes when a day seems to start out with an overwhelming lot to accomplish . . . like yesterday (AND in oppressive heat!) we wandered home at 9:30 PM, tuckered out but so happy. Everything that had to be done WAS done, and better results than we could ever have dreamed up. That is what it is like when we move WITH the Creator. It is such a TRIP!

Victoria & Richard are headed to China… again! While they are creating in the Far East, we can look forward to the next personal appearance at Cornelia Park in Phoenix. A surprise awaits guests of this PA…
“Richard and I are building an important “center piece” for the PA. We are working on it now. I will show you soon, what it is like . . .”
Hmmm sounds intriguing. I guess I will have to go to the PA to see what this is all about!

Taylor, I have not communicated with ANYONE in two months! It has been wild. I am sure you are better caught up through Denise, but here are a few photos:
(Oh, but did you get the news that we were given the award for the best booth in over 4800 booths?
It was so funny. We did not know there was anything more than what we got last time. This time it was a BEAUTIFUL crystal vase . . . more practical, all engraved, AND a free booth. A GREAT help for next time.) We will be in High Design, in a NEW building. They are putting us in the most important location. I am grateful, to say the least. We just did our normal backbreaking best, and THAT was such a surprise.

If you were to walk by the dock in Hoboken, you might notice that something is missing. The old dock was lonely last fall, as Yankee went for a beauty treatment. She was tugged to the local Ferry Salon, a.k.a. “dry dock”, where she was inspected from bow to stern, inside and out. Her results were very good and she came out looking even more beautiful than ever.
Victoria kept the crew going on chocolate brownies. Now I ask you, who can resist chocolate?

and from the smiles on these faces, I would say the brownies were pretty tasty.

Now the next time you walk by Yankee, look closely and wave. If you look at her rigging in the sunlight that shines through the New York skyline, you can see her sweet smile as she is, once moor in Hoboken.

LIke many New Yorkers this week, things are looking a little glum despite the temperature reaching a steady, if somewhat damp, 50 degrees. Pizza DiFara, afore adored in this blog by all at V & R Emprise, has been closed by Board of Health.
read all about it
It should be nicknamed BORED of Health, as you can’t get a healthier approach to PIzza DiFara….and then the rules come in about gloves and hats and all that jazz and things really go awry. Rumor has it that Dom is eschewing the hat rule. His own skin are just like oven mitts anyway, I can’t imagine gloves doing a thing for protecting the pizza. We’ll have to see.
But flags are at half mast because the burnt to a crisp all around the edges interior is being spruced up, according to code, and all manner of smokey, dingey, card-board-boxes-on-the-floor kind of life will be sucked right up and out of there.
We console ourselves by acknowledging the menu stays the same. Just gone (for a little while) is the golden-rod tinged DiFara’s.

subject = Questions and Bright Thoughts
query = Hello,
I recieved two pairs of your socks as a gift over 10 years ago! One pair has holes (yes, I still wear them) and holes will poke through any day. I LOVE THEM and want more. Do you still create them? If so, where can I find them?
Thank you!
P.S. Thank you for signing them!

WE INVITE YOU TO SEND US YOUR OWN POOR SOLES, IF YOU HAVE ANY THREADS LEFT, TO START A RALLYING CRY FROM THE MOBS FOR MORE SOCKS. IF YOU HAVE SUCH SPECIMENS, SEND THEM IN! WE WILL BEGIN A PHOTO JOURNEY THROUGH SOCK DRAWERS FAR AND WIDE….
